There are people who think that a couple should maintain the mystery even if on a long-term relationship and/or marriage. Personally, I think it would stagnate the intimacy of the relationship. Sure, it's not sexy to know what your S.O. does in the afternoon or weekends, how he/she lives, how bad is the morning breath, etc., but that's what intimacy is all about, and you further build up from there. Not all needs to be told, but hiding or obscuring yourself just for the sake of remaining 'interesting' is a fallacy.
