Today I have three choices for two more meals, all of them about to go bad: Eggs with ham, soup and bread, I took a nibble at each of them in order to figure out what to waste, and chose to dump the bread, since it was the least fresh of them. I don't even want to eat bread, but it still annoys me to trash it.

I wasted a meal for one person. But if I gave it to someone, I think I'd give him the soup and eat the bread. It was not that fresh for a gift. It doesn't annoy me when food is wasted at restaurants. The biogas factory turns it into fertilizer and electricity. But every bit of food we waste at home is probably just buried somewhere.

Working in a restaurant, this happens a lot and REALLY annoys me, cause I'm all "Bitch, I made you this bagel and now you're not gonna eat it? WTF." And then I'm tempted to eat it, but that's SO unsanitary. So I don't. Usually. :p

Don't worry, most of the food wasted in restaurants is probably collected by other company and transformed into compost. Organic trash is a money maker.
